Mosaic Life Care is seeking a CDI Reviewer to perform basic to intermediate clinical documentation reviews and collaborate with providers for accurate coding. The role includes ICD-10-CM/PCS coding and DRG determinations, and denial appeal support.

The position requires an RN license with an Associate degree and prefers a Bachelor’s in Nursing, plus ICU/critical care experience. Remote work options are available for eligible states.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conducts basic to intermediate initial, concurrent and retrospective reviews of clinical documentation.
• Assigns and updates ICD-10-CM/PCS codes and DRG adjustments.
• Identifies need to clarify documentation and initiates provider queries.
• Reviews clinical validation denials and drafts first/second level appeals.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure accurate documentation.
