Mosaic Life Care is hiring a remote CDI Specialist RN to perform basic to intermediate clinical documentation integrity reviews, coding, and denial appeal support. You will interact with providers and physicians to ensure accurate documentation and DRG assignments, contributing to care quality.

Requires an RN license, nursing degree, and experience with CDI processes. Remote role open to eligible states, with collaboration across a multidisciplinary team and ongoing professional development.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in nursing is required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in clinical documentation integrity functions is preferred.
• RN licensure required; state/compact licensure as applicable.

Aufgaben

• Conduct basic to intermediate CDI reviews and re-reviews of clinical documentation.
• Assigns and updates ICD-10-CM/PCS codes and DRG assignments.
• Identify need to clarify documentation and query providers to support severity of illness and risk of mortality.
• Collaborate with physician advisors on denial reviews and appeals.
• Participate in staff training and interdisciplinary rounds to improve documentation quality.
