Mosaic Life Care is seeking a CDI Specialist to join our clinical documentation integrity team. Under supervision of the Manager, you will perform basic to intermediate CDI reviews, query providers, and support first and second level appeals, while aligning with Official Coding Guidelines.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate's Degree in Nursing, RN licensure, 3 years ICU experience, and CCDS or CDIP within 2 years.

Formación

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• RN license and ongoing licensure in state of work.
• CCDS or CDIP certification within 2 years of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct basic to intermediate initial, concurrent and retrospective reviews of clinical documentation.
• Assigns ICD-10-CM/PCS codes and DRG baselines, reviewing in a timely manner.
• Identify documentation gaps and query providers to capture accurate records.
• Assist in denial analyses and write first/second level denial appeals with physician advisor.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure accurate coding and documentation.
