Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Clinical Dispatcher to coordinate emergency and routine medical consultations in a remote healthcare support team. You will liaise with hospital staff and physicians across multiple service lines, prioritize urgent cases, and ensure fast, accurate assignment of consultations in a 100% remote, 24/7 environment.

In this role, you will monitor queues, verify equipment readiness for virtual consultations, and uphold SLA performance while delivering professional communication

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and experience in call center, healthcare, IT, or related environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication with healthcare providers and colleagues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools across OS.
• Ability to learn new software, dispatch platforms, and technology systems.
• Excellent organization, problem-solving, and prioritization in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment at a second-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate emergency and routine medical consultations between hospital staff, physicians, and internal teams.
• Manage incoming consultation requests across the lifecycle with accurate processing and assignment.
• Prioritize and dispatch consultations across service lines per urgency and protocols.
• Use dispatch systems to assess requests and facilitate efficient coordination.
• Monitor consultation queues and meet SLAs; ensure timely assignments.
• Test and verify readiness of computers, cameras, headsets, and AV equipment.
• Deliver professional, clear, timely communication with facilities, physicians, colleagues, and supervisors.
• Meet or exceed performance standards and metrics from the scorecard.
• Collaborate across departments to maintain an efficient operational environment.
• Keep supervisors informed of issues and take corrective action when needed.
• Maintain positive team culture and follow policies; support clinical ops objectives.
• Remain flexible for on-call, emergency coverage, or after-hours duties as required.
