Job summary

Herzing University is seeking a MS-CMHC Clinical Director to oversee the practicum and internship fieldwork component of the MS-CMHC program, ensuring CACREP alignment and licensure requirements. You will collaborate with program leadership to develop curriculum, policies, and fieldwork partnerships while supporting students and site supervisors.

The role includes evaluating placements, maintaining curricular documents, and acting as a liaison with state licensing boards.

Qualifications

• PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision.
• 5 years of experience in higher education.
• Experience with CACREP accreditation.
• Experience in clinical supervision.
• Licensed Professional Counselor or equivalent licensure.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the initial CACREP accreditation process for the MS-CMHC program.
• Develop curriculum and assessment plans with program leadership and faculty.
• Establish and maintain fieldwork partnerships with sites.
• Prepare and submit components of accreditation candidacy related to fieldwork.
• Support students, faculty, and site supervisors to ensure quality fieldwork.
