Job summary

Modern Operators seeks a Client Engagement Manager to own the client relationship from onboarding through ongoing retainer. You’ll run weekly client meetings, lead onboarding interviews, facilitate workshops, and maintain proactive client communication to ensure satisfaction through our fulfillment process.

You are the client’s primary point of contact, responsible for timelines, outcomes, and ensuring the client’s happiness while collaborating across the company OS and execution teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in marketing or operations agency as an account manager or client success role.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Organized to keep commitments and close loops.
• Notion power user or experience with ClickUp/Monday.com.
• AI tools experience (Claude/ChatGPT) in real work.
• CRM experience with HubSpot/GoHighLevel or similar.
• Can manage concurrent client engagements remotely.

Responsibilities

• Own the client relationship as the primary point of contact.
• Run weekly client calls with agenda, recording, and logging decisions.
• Lead onboarding interviews and capture findings for sign-off.
• Coordinate builds with the Implementation Lead and drive dashboards to client review.
• Drive adoption through team training and establishing weekly operating rhythm.
• Manage scope, timeline, and retention/expansion discussions.
• Log milestone communications and maintain up-to-date records.
• Protect delivery quality with QA and continuous improvement.
