Job summary

Reserv is seeking a Team Lead in the claims space to provide leadership and claim-technical support within a remote-first environment. The role balances management duties with individual contributor work, guiding an auto claims team and leveraging analytics to drive efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in insurance claims across lines, with 3+ years in leadership, and holds an active adjuster license. Strong tech affinity and a focus on quality and transparency are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of insurance claims experience across multiple lines, auto experience preferred.
• 3+ years of leadership experience, remote environment preferred.
• Experience as team lead/supervisor or mentorship/QA required.
• Active adjuster license; resident-state license or Designated Home State; willing to obtain licenses within 60 days.
• Comfortable with technology; ability to evolve claims systems and processes to improve efficiency.
• Strong commitment to quality, accuracy, confidentiality, and accountability.
• Proven judgment on reserves, authority, and settlement strategy for high-exposure claims.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience; professional designations are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as backup/leader when Manager is out of office.
• Direct reports responsibility and onboarding tasks for new hires.
• Be SME for first-line questions, escalations, and roundtable discussions.
• Elevate topics in team Huddles and Workshops with leadership involvement.
• Drive increased reserve and payment authority and assist with moderate reviews.
• Lead customer-centric mindset and advocate for client satisfaction.
• Prepare and present comprehensive claims reports, metrics, and trends to clients.
