Job summary

Crawford & Company is seeking a Claims Supervisor in Las Vegas to oversee workers' compensation investigations, management and timely dispositions in line with guidelines. You will support the VP/AVP of Claims and lead a team within the service center.

The role requires strong communication, analytical ability and leadership to drive productivity, ensure compliance and coordinate with clients, carriers and brokers on claim reviews and reserve decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Five or more years of progressive experience as a Claim Examiner or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical ability with good mathematical aptitude.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises investigation, management and timely disposition of workers' compensation claims.
• Establishes performance standards, conducts appraisals and administers corrective action.
• Reviews files daily, provides instruction and reserves guidance, and coaches staff.
• Ensures compliance with internal/external standards and prepares for client reviews.
• Manages workflows in the Risk Tech Claim System and trains staff on systems.
