Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Claims Operations Associate II to support workers' compensation claims from a remote location within the Mountain or Central Time Zone. The role focuses on setting up and maintaining claim files, verifying coverage, and handling administrative transactions to ensure accurate, timely processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in claims operations or related insurance admin role preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must work within Mountain/Central Time Zone and standard business hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to workers' compensation adjusters and manage claim-related admin tasks.
• Set up and maintain claim files with accurate information.
• Verify coverage and process claim-related transactions; support payments.
• Respond to inquiries by phone, email, and voicemail and escalate as needed.
• Prepare and distribute claim documentation and coordinate outreach.
• Assist with litigation support by organizing documentation.
