Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking a remote Claims Operations Associate II to support workers' compensation claims processes. The role is based in the United States, accepting candidates located in Mountain or Central Time Zones, working 37.5 hours weekly from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

MT/CT, with strong organizational and communication skills. You will manage claim files, verify coverage, handle transactions, respond to inquiries, and support litigation and data management efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in claims operations or insurance administration required.
• Experience supporting workers' compensation adjusters is preferred.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to workers' compensation adjusters with claim-related admin.
• Set up and maintain claim files with accurate, timely data.
• Verify coverage and process claim-related transactions including payments.
• Respond to inquiries by phone, email, and voicemail; escalate complex issues.
• Gather information, identify discrepancies, and support issue resolution.
• Prepare and distribute claim correspondence and documentation.
• Coordinate outreach to collect information and schedule appointments.
• Assist with litigation support by organizing required documentation.
• Maintain organized workloads using ClaimConnect, ClaimCenter, OpsNow, Outlook.
• Support data management to ensure accuracy and compliance with procedures.
• Collaborate with adjusters and other departments to facilitate claims.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
