Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, public policy, legal studies, healthcare administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of cumulative civil rights, disability rights, investigations, clinical or administrative health care.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support and conduct the investigation and resolution of lower-moderate acuity civil rights and language access complaints, escalating complex cases as appropriate.
• Identify, analyze, mitigate and prevent risk related to civil rights concerns.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of complaints, investigations, and resolutions.
• Lead tracking, analysis, and reporting of civil rights and language access complaints.
• Coordinate collection and validation of patient demographic data for regulatory reporting.
• Contribute to preparation and submission of the Wisconsin State Civil Rights Compliance Plan.
• Develop and disseminate annual civil rights teammate training and remedial training on nondiscrimination, disability access, and language access.
