Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a remote Civil Rights Compliance Specialist to support the Civil Rights team by coordinating investigations, tracking complaints, and ensuring regulatory alignment across the health system. You will work with diverse stakeholders to maintain compliant processes and data integrity.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of experience in civil rights or healthcare equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, public policy, legal studies, healthcare administration, or related clinical discipline.
• Experience in civil rights, disability rights, investigations, policy/program development with equity focus.
• Ability to analyze complex civil rights issues and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support and conduct investigations and resolutions of civil rights and language access complaints.
• Identify, analyze, mitigate, and prevent risk related to civil rights concerns.
• Maintain confidential documentation per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead tracking, analysis, and reporting of civil rights data for insights.
• Coordinate collection and validation of patient demographic data for regulatory reporting.
• Contribute to development and dissemination of civil rights training and remedial programs.
• Participate in enterprise-wide committees related to civil rights and equity.
