Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a civil rights investigator to coordinate receipt, investigation, and resolution of discrimination in service delivery. The role supports data collection and management for the Civil Rights team within a fully remote capacity for listed states.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of relevant experience, with strong skills in analysis, collaboration, and policy-informed decision-making involving ADA, Title VI, and CMS requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in public health, public policy, legal studies, healthcare administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of civil rights, disability rights, investigations, clinical or administrative health care experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to engage diverse stakeholders in sensitive civil rights matters.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve civil rights complaints; escalate complex cases to leadership when needed.
• Identify and mitigate risk related to civil rights concerns.
• Maintain confidential documentation per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead tracking and reporting of civil rights and language access data for enterprise insights.
• Coordinate collection of patient demographics to support regulatory reporting.
