Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated Civil Rights Investigator to support the investigation and resolution of discrimination in service delivery and to oversee data collection for compliance efforts.

You will coordinate demographic data, assist in regulatory reporting, and work with cross-functional teams to advance equity, accessibility, and language access across care sites. This remote-friendly role requires strong analysis and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in public health, public policy, legal studies, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of civil rights, disability rights, investigations, or policy development experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and regulatory compliance skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and conduct investigation and resolution of lower-moderate civil rights complaints; escalate complex cases as needed.
• Identify, analyze, mitigate risk related to civil rights concerns.
• Maintain confidential documentation of complaints, investigations, and resolutions.
• Lead tracking and reporting of civil rights and language access complaints for insights.
• Coordinate collection of patient demographic data for regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with Clinical Risk and Patient Experience on civil rights initiatives.
• Support audits readiness and regulatory alignment.
