Job summary

Blackbird Health is a remote pediatric mental health practice offering teletherapy to children, adolescents, and young adults. Independently licensed clinicians in Virginia provide high-quality virtual therapy, engaging families and tailoring care to developmental needs.

The role supports afterschool, evening, and weekend sessions, with flexible hours and a guaranteed caseload. Team-based care, ongoing professional development, and full credentialing services are provided.

Qualifications

Independently licensed as a LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD/PhD in Virginia.
A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children and adolescents.
A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting.
Own your own phone, computer, and high-speed internet.
Commit to a minimum of 8 hours per week during core hours, after 4pm Monday through Friday and 8am-7pm on Weekends.

Responsibilities

Deliver individual telehealth therapy sessions for youth ages 2-26 using evidence-based practices.
Build meaningful therapeutic relationships with patients and families to support engagement.
Monitor patient progress against care goals and adjust treatment as needed.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create coordinated treatment plans.
Maintain thorough patient records and documentation.
