Job summary

Blackbird Health is seeking a qualified Therapist to provide high-quality virtual and in-person therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults in Burke, VA. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care and guidance to families, with a focus on family-centered, high-touch care.

Position is part-time (20 hrs/week) with after-3pm availability; licensure options include LPC-R or Resident in Counseling, LMSW SISW, and other Virginia licenses.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia license: LCSW, LPC, LPC-R or Resident in Counseling, or LMFT
• LMSW with an active SISW, OR
• LMSW who is eligible to obtain their SISW
• 1+ year of experience with children and adolescent patients
• 1+ year of telehealth or virtual setting experience
• Available after 3pm ET weekdays and/or weekends
• Passion for family-centered, high-touch care

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and caregivers, both virtually and in-person.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and families, assessing their needs and guiding engagement in treatment.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide compassionate, evidence-based care.
• Provide therapy services to children, adolescents, and young adults ages 2–26, and support caregivers.
• Join Burke, VA team and contribute to ongoing patient care.
