Blackbird Health is hiring a Child and Adolescent Intake Therapist to conduct intake evaluations and deliver ongoing therapy for youth in a remote role. You’ll connect with patients and families from the first session, assess needs, and tailor care plans using evidence-based practices.

The position supports afterschool and weekend sessions with flexible scheduling. Ideal candidates are Virginia-licensed clinicians with telehealth experience, strong assessment skills, and a collaborative,

Qualifications

• Licensed in Virginia (LCPC/LCMFT/LCSW-C) or equivalent PsyD/PhD.
• Minimum 1 year experience with children and adolescents.
• Telehealth or virtual setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead intake evaluations for youth ages 2–26 via telehealth.
• Provide ongoing individual therapy and adjust treatment plans as progress is monitored.
• Build strong connections with patients and families to support engagement.
• Develop and monitor individualized care plans and coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain thorough clinical documentation and compliance with records.
