Job summary

Populus Financial Group is seeking a dedicated Check Support Coordinator to oversee daily maker performance, fraud detection, forgery reviews, and check-cashing support activities for the CCSG. This remote role reports to the CCSG Manager and supports field operations to ensure secure, compliant check-cashing processes.

The position requires 4 years of experience in the check-cashing industry, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or higher.
• 4 years of experience in check cashing or the check-cashing industry.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Experience with ACE retail outlets and knowledge of fraud investigations preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review maker activity and adjust maker limits with sound judgment.
• Respond to field staff queries via phone, chat, and email.
• Assist with large check-cashing reviews and approvals.
• Ensure proper documentation for business check transactions.
• Conduct fraud and forgery investigations as requested by CCSG Manager.
• Prepare presentations using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Maintain compliance with Risk and Compliance standards.
