Job summary

NASW seeks a Chapter Services Coordinator for four chapters (Colorado, Utah, Montana, Idaho). This full-time, remote role reports to two Executive Directors and supports daily operations, member communications, CE programming, events, and engagement across multiple states.

The position emphasizes organization, collaboration, and the ability to manage diverse tasks in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment. Experience in nonprofit settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (social work or related field preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Google Suite, Constant Contact, Slack, Zoom, and other programs, and ability to learn new software.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ administrative experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with chapter staff and volunteers to generate and disseminate communications including monthly newsletter, social media, and website updates for NASW members and Social Work community.
• Facilitates all continuing education offerings and recruits and coordinates speakers for CE events and conferences.
• Develop and manage program and event materials, marketing, registration, evaluation, CEUs, contracting, invoicing and financial recordkeeping, and events.
• Plan and manage virtual and in-person events, including workshops, Annual Conference, and statewide networking.
• Coordinate the logistics of annual chapter elections and awards with updating webpages, social media, and recruiting volunteer leadership.
• Assist with planning of Social Work Advocacy Day (SWAD)/Lobby Day and coordinate with lobbyists.
• Provide administrative support for annual chapter conferences.
• Develop and coordinate member engagement strategies to improve retention, including outreach to lapsing members and welcome calls/messages.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director on financial reporting.
• Prepare payables and receivables documentation for payment and reconciliation.
• Manage and order office supplies, including print orders for conferences, workshops, and events.
