Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Channel Presales Technical Architect to grow technical advocacy for storage solutions across our partner community. You will be the trusted technical advisor to top channel partners, helping teams position, design and deliver HPE storage and data protection solutions to their customers, driving pipeline and revenue growth.

This role blends storage architecture expertise with partner enablement and requires collaboration with partner sellers and engineers on

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of technical presales experience with a major storage vendor or storage-focused channel partner.
Hands-on expertise in pitching, demoing and architecting complex storage solutions.
Knowledge of virtualization and at least two application stacks (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, SAP).
Hands-on knowledge of at least one major public cloud (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud); certifications preferred.
Expertise across the full data lifecycle: block, file, backup, ransomware protection.
Storage-related industry certifications strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner technical advocacy and enablement: build relationships with partner teams and enable them to position and design HPE storage.
Grow partner engineers’ ability to position, demo and design HPE storage through workshops, labs and certifications.
Identify technical champions within partner organizations and support their progress through certifications and program requirements.
Represent HPE at partner events, tech days and customer-facing briefings.
Solution architecture and opportunity support: translate partner needs into architected solutions with alternatives and gaps.
Deliver compelling presentations and demos linking HPE tech to business outcomes for partners and customers.
Support configuration and PoCs that meet partner requirements and improve win rates.
Develop competitive strategies with partners to win against competitors.
Pipeline and growth: collaborate with account teams, channel managers and partners to generate and advance storage opportunities.
Protect and expand HPE footprint by driving adoption and upgrades across the installed base.
Keep pipeline data accurate so deals move toward close.
Ensure smooth handoffs from sales to implementation with training needs.
