Job summary

The WIKA Group, a world leader in measurement technology, seeks a remote Regional Sales Specialist to cover Orange County, CA and Phoenix, AZ. You will meet annual sales objectives and build mutually agreed business plans with distributors and resellers.

Requires 3+ years in sales/marketing/engineering, strong interpersonal and presentation skills, and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CRM software. Willingness to travel up to 60–80% and provide regular sales coverage and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technical field including Engineering or an A.S.
• 3+ years industry/technical experience in sales/marketing/engineering
• Ability to support up to 60-80% overnight travel
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and CRM software
• Knowledge of customer contracts helpful

Responsibilities

• Meets or exceeds annual sales objectives as established by SMD
• Sets annual goals and objectives with distributors/resellers as required
• Develops and implements mutually agreed business plans with key distributors and resellers
• Holds distributors accountable to mutual business plans
• Develops and increases distributor/reseller business
• Provides regular sales coverage to existing accounts and evaluates new potential accounts
• Establishes and pursues target account programs
• Coordinates EPC program within assigned region as required
• Implements business strategy for key locations of national and global accounts
• Maintains flow of business information between SMD and Marketing/Customer Care Department
• Files monthly sales reports, itineraries and expense reports timely
• Performs other duties as assigned
