Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Channel Presales Technical Architect for the Central Florida region, with a Remote/Teleworker setup. You will act as the trusted technical advisor to key channel partners, helping them design, position and deliver HPE storage and data protection solutions.

You will join partner engineers and sellers on live opportunities, while also building their long-term capabilities to lead with HPE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of technical presales experience.
• Hands-on expertise in pitching, demos and architecting storage solutions.
• Knowledge of virtualization and at least two application stacks.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud; certifications preferred.
• Expertise across the data lifecycle: block, file, backup, protection.
• Knowledge of channel partner business models.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with partner technical and sales teams, and become their go-to resource for HPE storage.
• Grow the number of partner engineers who can position, demo and design HPE storage solutions through enablement sessions, workshops, whiteboarding and hands-on labs.
• Identify and develop technical champions within partner organizations, and support their progress through HPE certifications and partner program requirements.
• Represent HPE at partner events, tech days and customer-facing briefings.
• Join deep-dive discussions with partners and end customers to understand technical needs and translate into architected solutions.
• Deliver compelling presentations and demos that tie HPE’s capabilities to business outcomes for partners and customers.
• Support solution configurations and PoCs that meet partner requirements.
• Develop competitive strategies with partners to win against competing vendors.
