Remote positions involve conducting unbiased property valuations across the continental United States, documenting assessments with photos and measurements, and presenting final value estimates to clients and agents.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and an active appraiser license or state certification, with 0–1 years of related mortgage/appraisal experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Active Appraiser license or certification as required by state's regulatory agency.
• 0-1 years of related experience with a mortgage or appraisal company.

Responsibilities

• Conduct unbiased assessments of market areas and data to estimate property value per guidelines.
• Document on-site assessments with photos, measurements, and demographics.
• Draw land diagrams and create visual documentation.
• Consider factors that influence value (land, neighborhoods, trends, features).
• Generate fee quotes and present evaluations to clients, buyers, and agents.
• Collaborate with Lead Appraiser to resolve requests and suggest process improvements.
• Attend monthly appraiser meetings and meet turnover time expectations.
