Qualifications

• 0–1 years of related experience in mortgage/appraisal
• REO appraisal experience preferred
• HUD/FHA experience
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Ability to meet varying client-driven deadlines
• Active Appraiser license or certification

Responsibilities

• Conducts unbiased property appraisals and estimates in line with guidelines
• Documents on-site assessments with photos, measurements, and market data
• Draws land diagrams and creates visual documentation
• Considers factors affecting value including land, neighborhoods, trends, and features
• Generates fee quotes for appraisal services
• Presents evaluations to buyers, sellers, investors, and agents
• Collaborates with Lead Appraiser to resolve requests and improve processes
• Participates in monthly Appraiser meetings
• Meets department turn-time expectations and escalates when needed
