Logan Health seeks a certified coder to join its remote Revenue Integrity Coding team. The role focuses on accurately coding outpatient records, abstracting key data, and handling billing tasks for multiple client databases from a home office.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of coding experience and hold a nationally recognized certificate (CCA/CCS/CPC or AAPC). Arkansas eligibility is required for the remote position.

Qualifications

• At least one year of professional coding experience.
• Must hold a nationally recognized coding certificate (CCA, CCS, CPC or AAPC).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; teamwork and independent work ability.

Responsibilities

• Assigns ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes for outpatient records across care settings.
• Abstracts essential data for tracking, reporting and reimbursement.
• Keying, billing and collections for assigned client databases.
• Ensure documentation supports services and meets regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accuracy of charges and medical necessity for tests/procedures.
• Communicate with providers and staff to improve documentation.
