Logan Health is seeking a Certified Professional Coder for a fully remote, full-time role. You will assign ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes for outpatient records, abstract essential data, and support billing and collections across client databases.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of coding experience and hold a nationally recognized coding certificate (CCA, CCS, CPC or AAPC). Remote work is offered to eligible residents in approved states.

Qualifications

• At least one year of professional coding experience.
• Must hold a nationally recognized coding certificate (CCA, CCS, CPC or AAPC certification).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Assigns ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes for outpatient and other records with accuracy.
• Reviews records for document deficiencies and ensures proper coding per guidelines.
• Performs data abstraction for reporting and reimbursement purposes.
• Handles billing and collections for assigned client databases and ensures compliance.
