Job summary

Georgia Connections Academy, a tuition-free virtual K-12 school based in Georgia, seeks certified teachers to support students via the Pearson Online Classroom. Teachers deliver synchronous and asynchronous instruction, provide interventions, engage families, and analyze data to drive learning and growth.

Position involves in-person activities across Georgia as needed, with work from the Duluth, GA office and a home office within the state.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the content area or related field.
• Georgia teaching certification in the subject area of instruction.
• Clearance certificate or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Strong technology skills with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality synchronous instruction and create asynchronous resources aligned to GACA curriculum and state standards.
• Provide differentiated Tier 1 instruction and collaborate within MTSS/RTI to plan Tier 2 and 3 interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure accommodations are implemented with fidelity.
• Use assessment data to diagnose learning needs, plan instruction, and monitor progress.
• Maintain knowledge of K–12 curriculum pathways and update documentation accordingly.
• Engage families and build positive relationships to support student success.
