Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a part-time, fully remote scheduling specialist to pre-register patients for appointments and procedures. You will handle high call volumes, transcribe external orders, and verify patient insurance, ensuring accurate data entry across multiple systems.

The role supports Peaks Regional Office with a focus on efficient scheduling and excellent customer service. Prior revenue cycle or contact center experience is preferred, and remote work requires adherence to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 4+ years revenue cycle experience.
• Minimum 2+ years revenue cycle and/or 2+ years contact center experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and pre-register patients for appointments and other department activities.
• Transcribe external orders from physicians.
• Handle high call volumes across locations and departments.
• Utilize multiple systems to perform scheduling functions.
• Provide patients with preparation and location information.
• Input patient data accurately and verify insurance benefits.
• Manage multiple phone calls including transfers and conferencing.
• Mentor new hires as needed.
