Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Clinical Documentation Specialist (CDI) to review inpatient medical records, ensure complete and accurate documentation reflecting severity and potential reimbursement. You will work with physicians and coders to improve documentation quality and DRG integrity in a remote US role.

The ideal candidate holds a registered nurse license with a BSN or higher and has at least seven years of nursing experience, including five in inpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license with a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Seven (7) years of nursing experience and five (5) years in inpatient acute care.

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient medical records for documentation accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain an accuracy rate of 98% and a high-quality documentation standard.
• Initiate physician queries to clarify conflicting or incomplete documentation.
• Collaborate with coding staff for accurate ICD-10-CM/PCS coding and DRG assignment.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and documentation improvement initiatives.
