CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Casualty Specialist Evaluator for remote work nationwide (excluding Hawaii and Alaska). You will own adjusting cases with injury exposure up to $50,000, handling both represented and unrepresented claimants across multiple states, including licensed and statutory states.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or a combination of education and 2+ directly relevant work experience.
• 2 years of related professional experience.
• 2 years of claims experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Strong ability to work independently.
• Strong decision making ability.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Basic math and computer skills and ability to type 30 wpm.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills and good command of the English language.
• Ability to travel on rare occasions.

Responsibilities

• Owns adjuster role when injury exposure is identified and handles auto liability cases with exposure under $50,000.
• Deals with represented and unrepresented claimants and negotiates settlements.
• Performs investigative work, analyses evidence and medical records.
• Manages communications in writing, by phone and email.
• Triages and handles multiple states including licensed and statutory states.
• May support catastrophes and handle some first-party medical payments.
