Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is seeking a Casualty Specialist Evaluator for a remote role available nationwide (excluding Hawaii and Alaska). You will own select auto liability claims, including first/third party and medical payments, across multiple states with exposure up to $50,000.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage written, phone, and electronic correspondence in a supportive, remote environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related professional experience.
• 2 years of claims experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Good command of English, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Manage simple to moderate 1st and 3rd party auto liability claims.
• Handle first party Medical Payment and PIP where applicable.
• Investigate, negotiate, settle or resolve claims with exposure under $50,000.
• Communicate with claimants by writing, phone and email.
• Work in a virtual environment with possible office option.
• Assist in catastrophe-related activities and simple homeowner losses.
