Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Casualty Evaluator to work remotely in the United States. You will own injury-exposure claims, handle both first and third-party auto liability matters up to $50,000, and operate across multiple states with licensed and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ relevant work experience.
• 2 years of related professional experience
• 2 years of claims experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong decision making ability
• Strong customer service orientation
• Proficient oral and written communication skills and good command of English
• Ability to function in a team environment
• Ability to complete training courses pertinent to job duties
• Developing understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements
• Developing understanding of AAA claims policies and procedures
• Ability to travel on rare occasions
• Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends

Responsibilities

• Assigned as owning adjuster when injury exposure is identified.
• Handles 1st and 3rd party auto liability cases up to $50,000.
• Supports claims with handling Small Claims to conclusion.
• Work in a virtual environment or office setting as needed.
• Manage communications in writing, by telephone and email.
• Investigate, negotiate, and settle injury claims with exposure under $50,000.
