InnoSource is hiring a Remote Case Manager to help patients navigate healthcare processes from the comfort of your home. You will guide patients and providers through benefit investigations, prior authorizations, and enrollments, ensuring timely outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in patient-facing roles, Medicare/Medicaid knowledge, and strong communication skills. The position offers a 100% remote schedule with a Mon-Fri CST window and robust benefits in a Fortune 100 healthcare context.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in patient-facing or high-touch customer service.
• Experience in Hub or Patient Support Service preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial payer policies preferred.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical therapies and adherence challenges.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to connect with patients, caregivers, and providers.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data entry; strong computer literacy.
• People skills that demonstrate flexibility, persistence, creativity, empathy, and trust.

Responsabilités

• Handle inbound and outbound calls from patients, providers, and specialty pharmacies — aiming for one-call resolution
• Manage the full care journey from benefit investigation through medication delivery with urgency and care
• Conduct benefit verifications and coordinate with physicians, specialty pharmacies, and insurers
• Assist with prior authorizations, insurance requirements, and appeals — keeping patients informed throughout
• Explain insurance coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and the appeals process to patients in plain language
• Stay current on Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and commercial plan changes to proactively support patients
• Process enrollments via fax, phone, and electronically; review forms for accuracy and completeness
