Job summary

InnoSource partners with a Fortune 100 healthcare leader to offer a fully remote Remote Case Manager role. You will guide patients and providers through benefits, authorizations, and medication delivery, helping ensure timely outcomes while working from home.

The position emphasizes compassionate communication, problem solving, and detailed note-taking. You will handle calls, verify benefits, coordinate with pharmacies and insurers, and stay current on plan changes, with a Monday–Friday CST

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in patient-facing or high-touch customer service.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer policies preferred.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical therapies and adherence challenges.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in data entry and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls from patients, providers, and pharmacies — aiming for one-call resolution.
• Manage the full care journey from benefit investigation through medication delivery with urgency and care.
• Conduct benefit verifications and coordinate with physicians, specialty pharmacies, and insurers.
• Assist with prior authorizations, insurance requirements, and appeals — keeping patients informed throughout.
• Explain insurance coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and the appeals process to patients in plain language.
• Stay current on Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and commercial plan changes to proactively support patients.
• Process enrollments via fax, phone, and electronically; review forms for accuracy and completeness.
