Job summary

Cardinal Health Sonexus Access and Patient Support seeks a Case Manager to help patients access therapy through reimbursement support services. You will guide providers through intake, benefit investigations, and prior authorizations to ensure timely coverage.

The role is remote, full-time, with shift flexibility during business hours. Requires 3–6 years of related experience and strong organizational skills; HIPAA compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–6 years experience in related field preferred.
• Experience with major medical Fertility and Travel & Lodging BI preferred.
• 1–2 years experience conducting and documenting patient health insurance benefit investigations, prior authorizations, and appeals, preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial payer practices preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Guide healthcare providers through patient journey to therapy.
• Assist with patient referral intake and benefit investigations.
• Identify and initiate prior authorizations and step therapy reviews.
• Proactively follow up with payers and partners to facilitate coverage.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and program rules.
