CVS Health’s Minute Clinic Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner role delivers patient care via a remote technology platform. You will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage health problems for patients 18 months and older, partnering with a team of professionals to provide holistic care.

Ideal candidates hold an active Family Nurse Practitioner license and NBC; the position requires a full-time day shift with weekend coverage and the ability to obtain licensure as needed. Benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner with NB C and State license.
• Current National Board Certification.
• State of Employment license to practice as APRN.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidenced based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition planning.
• Evaluate a broad range of patients aged 18 months and above.
• Provide patient counseling on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention and safer sex practices.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to inquiries.
• Document all patient care in an EHR per MinuteClinic guidelines.
• Coordinate care with internal and external colleagues to ensure high-quality care.
• Work with a care team including Providers, physicians, paraprofessionals, pharmacists and others.
• Work independently, prioritize, solve problems, and advocate for patients.
