Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring Remote Care Navigators to guide patients through referrals and appointment scheduling. If you have healthcare administrative, medical office, patient scheduling, or healthcare call center experience, we'd love to speak with you.

In this fully remote, contract role, you will contact patients by phone, email, and text to schedule appointments, coordinate referrals, educate on next steps, and document interactions in EMR/CRM systems while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of healthcare administration, patient scheduling, medical office, referral coordination, or healthcare call center experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Contact patients by phone, email, and text to schedule appointments.
• Coordinate referrals and follow up with healthcare providers.
• Educate patients on next steps and available resources.
• Document patient interactions in EMR/CRM systems.
• Ensure referrals are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
