Handpicked Health, Inc. is seeking a Care Navigator to be the main contact for members and families, coordinating appointments, records, and benefits through our text-based navigation service.

This role reports to the Care Navigation manager and emphasizes collaboration, empathy, and delivering high-quality patient experiences. You will work remotely across the US, explaining insurance benefits, guiding members to top providers in the APP, and upholding HIPAA standards.

Qualificações

• 1–2 years of healthcare-related customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of insurance benefits, ability to explain them clearly.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Professional, friendly demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication across members, providers, and leadership.
• Strong organizational, time-management and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and meet commitments.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities.
• Able to work full-time remotely (40 hours/week) with a private workspace and reliable internet.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate appointments, tests, and procedures across providers, ensuring care is connected.
• Ensure providers have medical records and care plan information before visits.
• Identify barriers to care and resolve them with insurers, providers, and resources.
• Serve as main contact for members and families via text, chat, and phone.
• Explain care options, Handpicked Health services, and insurance benefits clearly.
• Share education and resources about conditions, treatment options, and next steps.
• Keep physicians, nurses, and care team informed about each member's progress.
• Document interactions accurately and securely per HIPAA.
