IQVIA is seeking a Care Manager for a remote contract role to support insurance verifications, benefit investigations, and copay assistance. The position requires handling prior authorizations and appeals, with confidentiality aligned to HIPAA guidelines.

The role offers potential conversion to full-time employment. Responsibilities include outbound/inbound calls, data entry, and collaboration with teams to document eligibility and enrollment Processes.

Competenze

• Minimum one year experience in medical billing, reimbursement, insurance verification, or related medical office experience.
• Typing speed of 30 words per minute or more.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work across multiple applications.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and soft phone systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in a virtual team.

Mansioni

• Perform outbound calls to obtain information and document accurately.
• Answer inbound calls and assist customers with pharmacy-related services.
• Maintain professionalism while providing efficient, courteous service.
• Contact insurance companies for benefit investigation and coverage eligibility.
• Provide prior authorizations and appeals support.
• Assist patients with enrollment for copay assistance programs.
• Update knowledge through education and training.
• Work independently and in a team to complete tasks.
• Meet quality standards per program KPI’s.
• Report ADEs per policy.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines; may assist onboarding new employees.
• Schedule: 8 hour shift between 8am-8pm EST.
• Must reside in the country where the job is posted.
