IQVIA is seeking a Patient Support Medical Billing Representative for a remote contract role (open to remote US). You will handle patient co-pays, vouchers, and claims support, reviewing documentation and applying business rules to approve or reject claims.

Role includes potential transition to full-time IQVIA employment. The position requires medical billing education, claim processing experience, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Medical Billing Program or related degree or billing license required.
• Experience in claim processing required.
• Ability to interpret EOBs required.
• Insurance verification experience required.
• Experience with payment postings required.
• Call center or customer service experience required.
• Revenue cycle experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive medical claims from healthcare providers or patients and ensure all required supporting documentation is provided.
• Interpret EOBs and CMS-1500 forms.
• Evaluate claims against program-specific business rules to determine approval or rejection.
• Maintain strong organizational skills to manage daily workload.
• Provide support to customer inquiries via phone, email, fax, or other channels.
• Identify operational challenges and recommend solutions to management.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Prioritize tasks and meet daily productivity quotas.
• Work 40 hours per week under moderate supervision.
