Job summary

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of Medical Billing Program or degree or license required.
Experience in claim processing required.
Ability to interpret EOBs required.
Insurance verification and payment postings experience required.
Call center or customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

Receive medical claims from providers or patients and ensure all required documents are provided.
Interpret EOBs and CMS-1500 forms.
Evaluate claims against program rules to approve or reject.
Maintain strong organizational skills to manage daily workload.
Provide support to customer inquiries via phone, email, or fax.
Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and meet daily productivity targets.
