Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Care Manager for a remote position. You will contact insurance companies to verify eligibility, conduct benefit investigations, assist with copay programs, and manage prior authorizations and appeals. This role requires strong communication, data entry speed, and HIPAA adherence.

Must reside in the United States and be able to work an 8-hour shift between 8am–8pm EST. Experience in medical billing or insurance verification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year in medical billing, reimbursement, insurance verification, or related medical office experience.
• Typing speed 30 wpm+ diagnosed; strong data entry.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail.
• Must navigate multiple computer tabs/monitors.
• Advanced Microsoft Suite and soft phone systems experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work remotely with HIPAA compliance.
• Must reside in the posting country.

Responsibilities

• Perform outbound calls to obtain information and document accurately.
• Answer inbound calls and assist customers with pharmacy-related services.
• Maintain professional communication; provide courteous service.
• Contact insurance companies for benefit investigation and eligibility.
• Provide prior authorizations and appeals support.
• Assist patients with enrollment in copay assistance programs.
• Update knowledge via training; work individually or in a team.
• Maintain quality by meeting KPI standards.
• Report ADEs per policy; assist onboarding of new staff.
