Job summary

Amgen seeks a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager to lead strategic engagement with top accounts across Minneapolis and surrounding markets. You will diagnose the business environment, build relationships with hospital leaders, and plan actions to optimize CV product utilization.

The role requires deep account management experience in healthcare sales, strong cross-functional collaboration, and an ability to navigate complex hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree & 2 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience
• Masters degree & 4 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience
• Bachelors degree & 6 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic lead for assigned key accounts and execute compliant, innovative strategies.
• Ensure institutional availability across inpatient and ambulatory care settings.
• Lead implementation initiatives enabling sustainable utilization.
• Develop and execute account plans aligned to cardiovascular strategy and needs.
• Collaborate with field teams and medical science liaisons as appropriate.
• Meet with hospital decision-makers in cardiology, lipidology, pharmacy, P&T committees.
• Present data and ensure compliant delivery of messages.
• Coordinate pull-through and access with sales colleagues.
• Provide field intelligence to analytics, brand, and market access teams.
