Job summary

Amgen in Minneapolis is seeking a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager to lead strategic accounts, build relationships with hospital and health-system leaders, and drive product utilization across inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will collaborate with matrix teams to develop and execute account plans, deliver compliant data, and coordinate access initiatives that optimize cardiovascular portfolio performance for patients.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree & 2+ years of sales/account management experience
• Master’s degree & 4+ years of sales/account management experience
• Bachelor’s degree & 6+ years of sales/account management experience
• Experience in payor and hospital environments is preferred
• Cardiology/dyslipidemia/heart failure exposure is advantageous
• Strong leadership without authority and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic lead for assigned key accounts and develop plans
• Ensure institutional availability across inpatient and ambulatory care settings
• Lead initiatives to promote portfolio utilization and access
• Coordinate with matrix teams and field sales for pull-through
• Build relationships with hospital leadership and payor decision-makers
• Deliver MAC-approved data and compliant messaging
• Monitor account performance and market dynamics
• Identify barriers and drive access improvements
