Job summary

Abbott is hiring a Territory Manager for CardioMEMS in the United States (Remote). You will drive therapy adoption, open new accounts, and grow revenue across implanting centers and community hospitals.

The role requires 3–5 years in healthcare sales, cardiology exposure, and a proven track record of meeting quotas. Travel 60–70% within the territory, with collaboration across Marketing, Education, and Commercial teams to support HF clinics and payer strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years direct healthcare sales experience; 2+ years in cardiology structural heart/heart failure preferred.
• Track record of ≥100% to quota for 2 consecutive years.
• Experience opening 3–5+ net-new accounts/year or expanding underdeveloped accounts.
• Strong understanding of payor and insurance reimbursement landscape.
• Recent launch experience leading 2–3 program launches/year with pre-launch planning, stakeholder alignment, training, and clinical workflow integration.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with physicians, HF clinics, administrators, and key stakeholders; deliver clinical, technical, and strategic presentations; lead pricing discussions and value-based conversations; plan educational events; provide day-of-procedure support and post-operative troubleshooting; meet/exceed sales targets and quarterly plans.
• Account Management & Program Development: Conduct quarterly business reviews with key accounts; collaborate with Clinical Account Representative; develop long-term relationships; submit timely sales reports and forecasts.
• Market Development & Competitive Strategy: Identify and convert new opportunities across implanting and community sites; use market insights; build territory strategies to increase market share.
• Technical & Procedural Support: Provide on-call technical/clinical support; cover procedures; support HF clinics with training, data collection, and new product introductions.
• Compliance & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Adhere to FDA regs and company policies; maintain documentation; work with internal partners and vendors; interact with patients professionally.
