Job summary

The Chemours Company is hiring a Capital Project Scheduler for a remote role, supporting end-to-end schedule development for major capital projects. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in heavy industrial project scheduling, strong P6 skills, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, construction, and cost teams.

Role requires travel up to 25% and eligibility to work in the Central or Eastern time zones, with proximity to Chemours facilities preferred for in-person activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy industrial power generation, refining and/or chemical process plant project scheduling experience.
• Proficient user of Oracle’s Primavera (P6) scheduling software.
• Ability to manage multiple project tasks and quickly initiate changes in plan when appropriate.
• Ability to effectively interact with and influence people at all levels within and outside of Chemours.
• Ability to travel (up to 25%).
• Candidates must be based within the Central (CT) or Eastern (ET) time zones and be able to commute to facilities within the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop fully integrated project schedules across all phases, functions, and activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Provide expert guidance on schedule structure, level of detail, and coordination to support efficient project execution.
• Build and maintain schedule logic, sequencing, and hierarchy aligned with project plans.
• Establish and track key schedule performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor progress.
• Evaluate schedules for accuracy, feasibility, and competitiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
• Determine resource-loading requirements and highlight critical resource constraints.
• Perform schedule risk analyses and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Lead schedule review/status meetings and deliver timely schedule updates.
• Develop and communicate clear schedule reports and insights for decision-making.
• Partner with engineering, construction, and cost engineering teams to track progress and support change-management.
