Job summary

Torq is hiring a Sales Engineer to build and manage top standard SE strategy in a hyper-growth environment. This remote role, based in Canada, supports the sales team in understanding customer technical needs to maximize value from Torq’s AI SOC platform.

You will lead pre-sales, deliver technical presentations, and collaborate with product and sales to meet targets while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in pre-sales engineering with a SaaS cloud security product.
• English/French bilingual is preferred.
• Deep understanding of pre-sales engineering and sales processes.
• Hands-on public cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with scripting languages and APIs.
• Strong communication for technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding pre-sales technical expertise and SE processes.
• Lead the Sales Engineering team and ensure proper CRM usage.
• Partner with sales, product, and leadership to drive sales targets.
• Deliver compelling presentations to customers and prospects.
• Promote Torq solutions at conferences and forums.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement solutions.
• Contribute input on product development and enhancements.
