Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a highly skilled mechanical engineer to train and evaluate AI agents that operate within a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks. You will design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge the agent's attempts, collaborating with CFD engineers to simulate and validate outcomes.

The role offers remote work with flexible hours and compensation up to $69 per hour, depending on experience and pace.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or related field).
• 5+ years CAD modelling experience with CATIA/SolidWorks/Siemens NX/Creo or equivalent.
• Active CAD license required.

Responsibilities

• Train and evaluate AI agents that operate inside a real CAD environment.
• Design part geometry and build reference solutions for evaluation.
• Judge agent attempts and provide feedback for improvement.
