Megger Group is seeking a South Central Area Sales Manager - Cable Products to grow equipment sales across TX, OK, AR, LA, MO, and KS. The role emphasizes direct sales activities, education of the field team, and customer demonstrations of cable fault location and diagnostic equipment.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years in technical sales or field support for electrical test equipment, with strong presentation and CRM skills, and a willingness to travel 50%+. Remote work from the U.S.

Qualifications

• The candidate has a minimum of 5 years in technical sales, applications engineering, or field support for electrical test or power cable equipment.
• Strong knowledge of power cable systems and diagnostic methods (Cable Fault Location, VLF, Tan Delta, Partial Discharge).
• Ability to educate and train sales personnel on product applications and demonstrations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-relationship management skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively (minimum 50%).

Responsibilities

• Develop and secure equipment sales within the South Central USA region.
• Educate and train outside sales team for product demonstrations.
• Provide technical support for cable fault location, test, and diagnostics within scope.
• Promote Megger equipment to electric utilities and industrial clients.
• Manage territory planning, CRM data entry, and monthly reporting.
• Travel for product demonstrations and customer engagements.
