Job summary

Sentara Health is recruiting a Business Systems Analyst to ensure the accuracy and integrity of benefit plan data within the Simplify Benefits1 platform. This fully remote role interfaces with stakeholders, vendors, and IT to validate outputs, support enhancements, and improve efficiency.

The position emphasizes QA, data validation, reporting, and process improvement, with opportunities to develop tools and automation while supporting diverse benefit applications.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience in business systems analysis, quality assurance, testing, reporting, data analysis, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance testing and validation to ensure benefit plan data, documents, and system outputs are accurate, complete, compliant, and delivered within established deadlines.
• Investigate data discrepancies, defects, and process issues; support root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Validate system changes, enhancements, and configurations prior to implementation.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and production validation activities.
• Monitor deliverables and proactively manage priorities to meet project timelines and business commitments.
